Privacy Policy

Overview

LIGMAN One is a mobile application operated by Ligman Lighting Co., Ltd. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We designed LIGMAN One to collect as little data as possible.

Information We Collect

LIGMAN One does not require accounts, logins, or personal information to browse products. The data we collect is:

• Feedback submissions: If you choose to send feedback, we store the message text you submit. Feedback is anonymous — we do not ask for your name or email.
• IP addresses: Your IP address is temporarily recorded to prevent spam (rate limiting on feedback submissions). IPs are not linked to identities and are not shared.
• Standard server logs: Like most websites, our servers record basic request information (page visited, timestamp, browser type) for security and diagnostics. These logs are automatically rotated.
• Website and PWA analytics: On the browser and installable web app only, we collect anonymous usage statistics such as catalog and product views, document or video opens, normalized search terms, filters, language, and clicks leading to an app store. Analytics cookies are disabled, IP addresses are masked, URL query strings are removed, and geolocation is disabled.

Mobile App Analytics

Requests from the Turbo Native iOS and Android applications are excluded from LIGMAN's behavioral analytics. We exclude both requests identified by the mobile user agent and requests carrying the mobile app's device identifier. Apple and Google separately provide us with aggregate store statistics, such as listing views, downloads or installs, crashes, and ratings, under their own privacy policies. We do not combine those reports into individual profiles.

Device Identifier (mobile app only)

The LIGMAN One mobile app generates a random device identifier (a UUID) on first launch and stores it in your device's local storage. This identifier is sent to our servers only to associate your Project Lists with your device. It is not used for tracking, analytics, or advertising. It is not shared with any third party. If you uninstall and reinstall the app, a new identifier is generated and any prior Project Lists are no longer accessible from the new install.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not use third-party behavioral analytics or advertising trackers on the website or PWA.
• We do not sell or share data with third parties.
• We do not track users across other websites or apps.
• The mobile app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or photos.

How We Use Information

Feedback submissions are reviewed by LIGMAN staff to improve the product catalog and user experience. Server logs are used strictly for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. Anonymous website/PWA statistics are used to improve catalog discovery, content, and reliability.

Data Retention

Feedback is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Server logs are rotated automatically on a short schedule. Anonymous website/PWA visits and events are retained for 13 months and then deleted automatically.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of any feedback you have submitted by contacting us with enough context to identify the submission. Anonymous analytics are not linked to an account, name, email address, or mobile device identifier, so we generally cannot identify or retrieve an individual visitor's analytics records. Contact us with any privacy request and we will respond under the law that applies to you.
